Obituary of Ida Combs

Ida Mae Combs, age 79, of Silver Springs, FL passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2009. She was born in Ohio and raised in Booneville, KY. She met and married Dan Combs and together they raised four children. Mrs. Combs was a member of First Baptist Church of Silver Springs. Her hobbies included quilting and crocheting. Survivors include her husband of 58 years Dan Combs; daughter Kathy Davis of Silver Springs; son Gary Combs of Hazard, KY; son Gordon Combs of Silver Springs; daughter Ollie Jean Johnson of Hazard, KY; brothers Herman Little and A.C. Caudill; sisters Alice Hall and Eva Lee Barrett; grandchildren Jay, Dan, Shelby, Chris, Angela, Jessica and Tonya; and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from 10am until 11am. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 11am.
