Obituary of Sevellar Clark
Sevellar Clark, of Chiefland, passed away at her home in Chiefland on Oct. 26, 2009.
Born Nov. 20, 1920 in Branford, FL she came to Chiefland from Bell in 1986. She was a homemaker
and enjoyed fishing, sewing, gardening and flowers. She is survived by her long time companion ,
Jerry Coutuer, daughters Faye (Willie) Williams and Shirley (David) Smith both of Chiefland, sons
Bobby (Pearl) Clark of Branford and James Clark of Bell, sisters, Mary (Herald), Pearl (Bob),
Ella (Jack) all of Branford and Corrine Tripps of Ashburn, GA. She is also survived by her
grandchildren Jamaica (Heath) McCook, Banyon Smith, A.J. (Cynthia) Smith, James (Melinda) Smith,
Polly Mills, all of Chiefland, Jason (Caroline) Smith of Ft. Stewart, GA and Yancy (Dee Dee)
Smith of Jacksonville, FL, and many, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She
is preceded in death by Shevvy Gean Mills, Charles O'Steen and Patty Sullivan Funeral services
will be Saturday, Oct. 31 at 2:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Chiefland with Pastors
Grady Mills and Mark Collins officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Horeb Cemetery in
High Springs. Visitation will be Friday night, Oct 30 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
