Obituary of William H. Varney

William H. 'Bill' Varney, age 77, of Belleview, FL passed away on Friday, October 30, 2009. He was born in Pike Co., KY on May 3, 1932. He met and married Naydene Cochran and together they raised five children. He worked for the City of Detroit as a Bus Driver. After moving to Florida he worked for Certified Grocers as a Truck Driver, Warehouse Manager and a Buyer. After retirement he worked as a Cabinet Maker and was the owner/operator of Creative Store Design in Belleview. Bill was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, Ocala where he was very active. Survivors include his wife of 58 years Naydene Varney; son Mitchell Darrel Varney and his wife Layne of Summerfield, FL; daughter Debra Schwaller and her husband Jim of Summerfield, FL; daughter Deidre Webb of Ocala; son Earl Varney and his wife Pam of Candler; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Greg Varney.
