Obituary of Shirley Thompson

Shirley Frances Thompson, 72, passed from this life on November 2, 2009 at Legacy Hospice House in Ocala. Mrs. Thompson was born in Indianapolis, IN to Joseph M. & Helen A. (Martin) Fitzgerald. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the College Park Church of God. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Don E. Thompson of Ocala; two daughters, Connie S. Scriver of New Market, Ontario, and Judy L. Bryan of Woodstock, GA; one son, Gary S. Thompson of Avon, IN; one sister, Jean Cook of Clearwater, FL; one brother, Robert Thomas Fitzgerald of Indianapolis, IN; and nine grandchildren. Funeral Service for Mrs. Thompson will be Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 11:00 AM at College Park Church of God 3140 S.W. 26th St. Ocala, Fl. With Pastor James Fleming Officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 3:00 â€" 7:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley TimberRidge Chapel 9695 S.W. 110th St. Ocala, Fl. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, Fl.
