Obituary of David Laster

LASTER, DAVID J. Ft. McCoy - David J. Laster, 55, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 at his residence. He was born in France and moved to Florida in the late 1980's from Daleville, AL. He was a driver for AAA Cooper Transportation for 18 years and served his country in the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Marston Lodge No. 49, F&AM at Ft. McCoy and enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, NASCAR, and college football, especially the Alabama Crimson Tide. He is survived by his wife, Pat Costello Laster of Ft. McCoy, his mother and father Martin and Helen Laster, his daughter, Michelle(Jason) Borich of Atlanta, his sons, Michael of Hot Springs, AR, Lonnie of Athens, GA and Jay(Rachel) of Lexington, SC, his sister, Lorene (Mark) McDaniel of Enterprise, AL, his brother, Sam (Cheryl) of Pace, FL his grandchildren, Bailey, Dale, Zeke, Drew, Anna, Haley, Martha, Matthew and Olivia and nieces, Leah Laster, Mary Campbell and nephew, Samuel Laster. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009 at 6:00 P.M. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala with visitation at 5:00 P.M. "Roll Tide Roll !".
