Obituary of Francisco Vega

Francisco 'Yiyo' Vega, age 77, of Ocala, FL passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2009. He was born in Lares, Puerto Rico on July 28, 1932. Yiyo moved to Chicago, IL at the age of 18. He married his wife of 55 years and together they raised two boys. He worked as a Warehouseman for La Preferida Produce in Chicago for 26 years. After retirement he and his wife moved back to Puerto Rico and then to Florida five years ago. He was Catholic. His hobbies included horse racing, bingo, scratch tickets, gardening, flowers and family. He is survived by his wife Virginia; son Hipolito Vega of Ocala; son Francisco, Jr. of Houston, TX; brother Antonio Vega; sister Ramona Vega of Puerto Rico; sister Elsa Aquino of Tampa, FL; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
