Obituary of Edward Richards

Dr. Edward W. Richards, Jr. passed away, Friday, November 20, 2009, in The Villages, Fl. He was born in Arlington, Mass., the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Edward Richards, Sr. He was educated at Boston University and received his Doctor of Optometry from the Massachusetts school of Optometry. He served in the US Army as a 1st Lieutenant and later practiced optometry for many years in Medford, Mass. He was of the protestant faith and a member of the Elks Lodge, VFW and Kiwanis Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Wanda Borders Davis; two daughters Sandy Richards of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Diane and her husband Terry McNabb of Stowe, VT; one son, Bradley and his wife Joan Richards of Phoenix, AZ; and four grandchildren.
