Obituary of Rosaire J. Brault
Rosaire 'Rex' J. Brault, 89, passed away on Saturday, November 21,
2009 at the Tuscany Hospice House. Born in Orleans, VT, he moved to Ocala in 1985 from Brentwood,
N.H. In his youth, he played the guitar and sang on a radio station in Portland, ME, was a boxer
and later became a carpenter by trade. After moving to Florida he owned and operated a mowing
business. Mr. Brault was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Belleview and lifetime member
of Knights of Columbus. He served in World War II in the United States Army as a medic. He is
survived by his wife Elaine Brault of Ocala; daughters Claire Scribner of Sabatus, ME, Gizelle
Thompson of Avondale, AZ; stepsons, William Robarge, Belmont, NH, Michael Robarge, Greene, ME,
Jeffrey Robarge, Ocala, Daniel Robarge, Ocala, Matthew Robarge, Ocala; sister, Felicienne Auger,
Manson, WA; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
