Obituary of Mario G. Scarpinato

Mr. Scarpinato, 84, died, Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at The Villages Regional Hospital. He was born in Manhattan, NY and was a retired hairdresser, serving many years in Queens, NY. He and his wife Sophia moved to The Villages, FL 16 years ago from Hyde Park, NY. Mario was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Community, The Villages, FL and served as center aisle usher for 16 years. He enjoyed gardening, raising pets, and most of all he was devoted to his family. He is survived by his wife of 591/2 years, Sophia; son, Dr Len Scarpinato, Milwaukee, WI; daugnter; Jackie Meli-Rizzo, Garden City, NY; three grandsons, Tom Meli, Gregory Meli, and Mario (Mark) Scarpinato
