Obituary of Charles Hart

Hart, Charles John 89 Charles John Hart, age 89, of Ocala, FL passed away on November 26, 2009. Mr. Hart was the son of John Hollis and Virgie (Blackwell) Ellis. Mr. Hart, a resident of Beekman, NY for 17 years, retired and moved to Ocala in 1984. Mr. Hart was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. He was a Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus with lifelong membership. His favorite music was Western and Irish Tenors. He felt his family was his greatest accomplishment. He was also an actor, petty officer in the Coast Guard, serving during WWII and an electrician. He was employed by the New York Central Railroad (Penn Central) for 29 years until he retired after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Hart is survived by sons, Charles John Jr. of Concord, NC and Robert Michael of Bronxville, NY; daughter Patricia Anne Accomando of Ocala; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by son Michael Edward in 1967 and his wife Helen Ann Hart of 65 years, in 2007. Funeral service for Mr. Hart will be Thursday, December 3, 2009 at St. Denis Catholic Church, Beekman, NY. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 4-7:00 PM at Auchmoody Funeral Home, 900 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY (tel: 845-221-9234). Services to start on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Denis with interment at St. Denis Cemetery.
