Obituary of Robert Mulvey
Robert Irving Mulvey, 82, passed away at Legacy Hospice House on November 29, 2009. Mr.
Mulvey was born in Frankfort, NY to Robert C. and Esther M. (Seeber) Mulvey. He moved to Ocala,
FL from Macedon, NY in 1997. He retired after 40 years from American Express as Distribution
Manager. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. Mr. Mulvey was a
member of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala and a member of the American Legion Post
#0494 of Macedon, NY. He enjoyed woodworking, making toys for the grandchildren, hunting, travel
and the outdoors. Mr. Mulvey leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, Donna Mulvey of Ocala;
two sons, Robert C. Mulvey, II of Hodgdon, ME and Richard K. Mulvey of Rochester, NY; one
daughter, Rebecca A. Pontera of Rochester, NY; and seven grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be
Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 8:30 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church SR200 with Father Patrick
J. O'Doherty officiating. Military Honors provided by Angela Santos Post #4781 of Ocala.
