Obituary of Winona Winnie Kanowski

Winona "Winnie" Kanowski, age 72, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009 at The Villages Hospice House. Winnie was born in Oakland, Maryland. She owned and operated Skufca Trophies, in Cleveland, OH. In 2003, she retired to The Villages from Cleveland, OH. Winnie was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #347.She enjoyed playing golf, bowling, meeting people, and spending time with friends. She is survived by her husband, William, of The Villages. Winnie was one of twelve children and is survived by two sisters and five brothers, and one granddaughter, in Ohio. Inurnment at Florida National Cemetery will be at a later date.
