Obituary of Rita Hope Ryan

Weirsdale - After a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer, Rita Hope Ryan, 54, of Weirsdale, FL, formally of Lebanon, NH, passed away at her home on December 30, 2009 with family and friends at her bedside. She was born on May 9, 1955 in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Rita is survived by her husband, Harry C. Ryan, Jr., four sisters, Ruth Gray of Weirsdale, FL, Rose Welch of Haverhill, NH, Joyce Greene of Weirsdale, FL, Irene Heath of Lebanon, NH, and one brother, William Brown of Enfield, NH and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Warren E. Brown, her mother, Mary E. Brown and a brother, Daniel P. Brown. Rita loved her dog, Daisy. She was always helping others and she enjoyed traveling with her husband. Rita was a big collector of rabbit figurines. Rita was well known as 'Miss Rita' by many of the customers to her ice cream truck that she and her husband had for 20 years. One of her favorite stops was the Paisley Day Care that they went to on Thursdays. Rita was a member of the Marion Grange #207 in Belleview, FL.
