Obituary of Thomas Barnes

Ocala - Thomas Robert Barnes, Sr., 85, passed away on Monday, Jan. 4, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Altoona, PA and was a longtime resident of Marion County. He was retired from the U.S. Army, serving during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was a retired chef, working for the Brahma, the Lamplighter and First United Methodist Church. He was a member of College Road Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife Elsie of Ocala, his son, Thomas R. Barnes, Jr. of Ocklawaha, his daughter, Belinda Bollen of Ocala, his son, Earl Barnes of Ocala, his grandchildren, Linda Pangborn Wilson, Thomas R. Barnes, Michael Brian Barnes and Jennifer Lynn Barnes, his four great grandchildren and his two great great grandchildren.
