Obituary of John James Belles

THE VILLAGES — John James Belles, 62, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010. Mr. Belles was born in Allentown, Pa., and moved to The Villages from there in 2005. He was a steamfitter working in construction; of the Protestant faith; member for 42 years of the Steamfitters Local Union No. 420, Philadelphia, Pa.; Past Master of Greenleaf Masonic Lodge No. 0561, Allentown; Sons of American Legion SAL No. 347, Lady Lake; Mercantile Club, Emmaus, Pa.; Salt Water Fishing Club and the Mustang Club, both of The Villages; was an avid golfer; and enjoyed any type of fishing. Survivors include his wife, Deborah; daughter, Heather Belles, Emmaus; sisters Donna Bakes, Skippack, Pa., Janey Heckler, Macungie, Pa., Kathy Brevick, Allentown, Lori Bundra, Emmaus; brothers Keith and Craig, both of Allentown; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 20, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
