My Uncle Frank meant so much to me. He was a special person who always seemed to have a good word for everyone. I admired how he was so happy and always in a good mood, despite his many health problems. He was such a pleasant person and had a great sense of humor. He made me laugh so many times. I consider him such a wise man. He knew so much about so many things. It was always nice to talk with him on the telephone and I truly enjoyed being with him on his visits. I loved him very much and will miss him deeply. May God have mercy on his soul. May he rest in peace.
Love, Donna

My brother Frank was very special to me. He was a very dear friend. He was always so thoughtful, caring and loving. Family meant everything to him, especially his children. We had long conversations on the telephone several times each week. We would tallk about family, health, music, religion, weather, news, politics, baseball, reminisce about life in the coal region, etc. He often would express the joy he found in making the nursing home residents happy by singing and playing his keyboard for them. Watching them sing along and polka made him so happy. I loved when he would play those songs for me over the telephone. We would laugh together and we would cry together. His life experiences left many interesting stories for him to share. I will always treasure the times we were able to be together at family wedding receptions. I love him very much and always will. I find comfort knowing he is with the Lord.
Love, Mary

My Uncle Frank, had such an endearing personality and will be greatly missed. Whenever we would speak on the telephone I would hang up laughing at one of his jokes, feeling so special, so loved. Moreso, he made me want to do more with my life and to enjoy my life as he did. It is a very rare, special person whose life inspires another -- as his did mine -- to live differently, love more, and to more fully enjoy life. I thank him for all his many prayers for me in this life. I am grateful for his wise advise on forgiveness. He made me realize that only with forgiveness in my heart would I find peace, happiness and a relatioinship with Jesus. Surely, he heard Jesus speak the words, "Well done good, and faithful servant", (Matthew 25:23)
I love you Uncle Frank, Karen

Here's an excerpt from Dan and Tami's Oct. 4, 2009 wedding. Frank Pinchot gives Tami away over the phone during the ceremony, then stays on to wish us all the best once we become newlyweds.

Hey everybody. Take a look at some excerpts of a video Frank Pinchot's family in Harrisburg, PA created for him last year so he could catch a glimpse of our lives from Florida. The youtube link is:

We miss you Pop-Pop. Love ya, and we hope you're finally getting to go on a fishing trip.

Frank was and is my Dad. Even though he may have shed his earth suit I believe he still is. I was woke up at approx 5am the day he left to be prepared in my heart. The name "Frank" means "Free Spirit" and that is definitely a word that could define Dad! LOl! He had a fierce love of life and found enjoyment in everyone and everything. His humor was surely a gift from God. ( : He had opinions and stories that a library could hold! He loved to fish and loved his excursions. He absolutely loved to entertain with his keyboard especially the nursing homes. I do remember he came to PA to visit us years ago and I was getting ready for work and Dad started playing "Roll Out the Barrel" which wasn't working for me that morning but as I joked about it through the years , what I would give to hear him play it for me now!
I do want to mention his notoriety through out his life in some quirky things. Maybe other family can help with this, he won the World Truck Rodeo in Hawaii back when he was in the service. I know he had write ups in the paper in Florida as "The Music Man" and a story of how he helped to capture some criminals? LOl in his style I am sure!
He was also an adventurer. During Hurricane Agnes back in the 70s> He would take us out joy riding. He loved to go out in Blizzards and take trips to my Grandmother"s house
that was over an hour trip on a good day! During hurricanes in Fl he would be out and about on the phone with me describing the scenes as he was out exploring when you were under restrictions. He would be on the other line saying . "Ohh.. that sign just blew right out, you should see it! " I would be on the other end panicked trying to talk him into getting home!
He loved adventure and now he is on to an even greater one! I Love you Daddy!!!

I feel both blessed and very grateful to have met Frank. He was a man that lived for the moment and would never let anything slow him down. He never met a stranger and loved nothing more than to be around his friends and family sharing stories, laughs, and love! His love for music and entertaining others was a wonderful inspiration to me. I accompanied him and his son, Gary, to one of many nursing homes where he spent the afternoon singing and playing the keyboard as the residents sang, clapped, and danced along. He got great joy out of bringing joy to others. This is just one of many qualities that made Frank a great man, the best of friends, a wonderful father, and now our Angel in Heaven. May you rest in Peace and watch over each of us until we meet again! You will forever be in our hearts! We love you and will miss you greatly! Love, your friends and family!
