Obituary of Wayne L. Sherlock

Wayne L. Sherlock, 69, of Bronson died Feb. 15, 2010 at Shands in Gainesville. Born in Michigan he has been in this area for 30 years. He was of the Baptist faith, VFW and Moose Club and was self employed as a painter for 45 years and enjoyed fishing and his dogs, 'Baby' and 'Jack'. He proudly served his country in the US Army. Survived by his wife of 22 years, Wilma Sherlock of Bronson, daughters Marlene (Doug) Reynolds of Blanding, CA, LeAnna Johnson of Lake City, Krystal (Gino) Panzardi of Blanding, CA., and Nina (Wendell) Jenkins of Trenton, sons Wayne (Sandy) Sherlock, Jr., of Prescott Valley, AZ. and Edward (Harriet) Sherlock of Chatham, VA., sisters Anita Stringback of Cadiz, KY, Beverly Strong of Saginaw, MI, his aunt, Inis Brooks of MI., dear friend Jenny Slusher, and13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Chiefland with Dr. Greg Douglas officiating. Burial will follow the service at Ellzey Cemetery.
