Dear Jim, Fr. Bill, and Ginny,
We are sorry for your loss and hope you know that the rest of the family is thinking of you. We know she was a great wife to Jim and sister to Bill & Ginny and it must be difficult to let her go. Hang on to your good memories and remember how she enriched your lives.
Love, Una Gordinier and children. (Chuck, Maureen, Denis, John, Tim and Sheila)

Aunt Cathy is a very important person to me throughout my life. As a child, as a young adult and now and a working parent see has always provided an excellent role model and the time to guide me to where I am way beyond what you would expect of an Aunt.
As a child, I have fond memories of staying at her apartment at Hudson Arms apts. in Rochester. She always made me feel specil as we planned a special dinner (scalops and hush puppies TV dinners was like a Red Lobster feast for me as a kid). We would watch Crosswits on TV and walk to church that was jst behind the apts. She had me out to the Lake one weekend and she taught me to tie my shoes. I was 5 and had been having difficulty. She brought a determination that got te job done.
As a young adult, she always stressed good manners. No TV with guests coming, proper language (no Me and Joe, it hd to be Joe and I) and she always had a way of teaching a lesson through playing Scrabble, Gin Rummy or Golf. She was a planner and had meals planned, activities planned and visiting with friends planned right down to favorite Hor d' ourves to have.
As an adult now (in age at least) I cherish the things I learned from Aunt Cathy. Beyond what is above, Aunt Cathy always took care of others. As a professional in Detroit, she brought meals and company to very sick people afer her day was done. In Rochester, se put Grandma in front of her career and took care of her for years with loving care. I still remember her calling Grandma "Dear" and I asked "isn't that your mother?".
I am so happy that she found her love of her life Jim (or Jimmer as she affectionately called him). They were a perfect match and Uncle Jim will always be a part of our family. His compassion and committment to take care of Aunt Cathy is exceptional and I really love and appreciate Uncle Jim for this.
We love you Aunt Cathy and will miss you. Everytime I tie a Kindergartener's shoes, correct a students' grammar or play a round of golf, I will remember the love that you unconditionally gave to me and my family.
