Obituary of Michael G. Paulina

Michael G. Paulina, Sr., passed away, Friday, February, 19, 2010 at Tampa General Hospital, Tampa, FL, at the age of 68. Mr. Paulina was born in Detroit, MI. He married his childhood sweetheart, Darlene, in 1962. He was the owner of Ajax Trailers, Inc., Warren, MI for 35 years and was a proud U.S. Patent holder. In 2006 he and his wife began to spend winters in The Villages, Florida and summers in Traverse City, Michigan. He enjoyed boating, watching the ducks and swans on the lake from his Traverse City home, giving golf cart rides to his grandsons, but most of all spending time with his family. Mr. Paulina is survived by his beloved wife, Darlene of The Villages; daughter Lori (Robert) Harvey of Holt, MI; son, Michael G. (Paula) Paulina, Jr.; brother, John A. (Lois) Paulina; grandsons, Justin, Tyler, Alexander and Benjamin; nephew, John (Kristin) Paulina; niece, Ann Marie (Jorgen) Lyngso; several cousins, uncles, and aunts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernie and Flora. Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00, Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, FL.
