Obituary of Roland A. Poirier

Roland A. Poirier, age 90, of Lady Lake, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010. Mr. Poirier was born in New Bedford, MA and moved to The Villages from Plymouth, MA in 1988. He was a proud veteran of the US Army, serving in WW II. He was a retired owner and manager of an interior decorating business in New Bedford, MA. He was a member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church, and a member of the American Legion. His survivors include his loving wife, Viola E. Poirier, of Lady Lake, FL; son Roland A. Poirier, Jr. of Yarmouth Port, MA; two daughters Claire V. Schnell, of Acushnet, MA; Doris Bentley, of New Bedford, MA, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
