Obituary of Patricia Allen

Summerfield, Florida: Mrs. Patricia (Peggy) Allen, 85 died on March 3, 2010. Mrs. Allen was a secretary. She was born in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick J. Gorman. She graduated from Greenville High School in Greenville, Maine. She served in the United States Navy during World War II. She was a member of WAVES NATIONAL and former member of Waves Chapter 41 of Maine. Peggy attended the Community United Methodist Church in Fruitland Park, Florida where she was a member of the choir. Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband Al; daughter: Jayne E. Allen; granddaughters: Tricia, Cecilia, Mimi and Alaina; four great-grandsons: Nathaniel, Joshua, Jesse and Austin and a great-grandaughter: Lillie. Sisters: Beth Tompkins, Ruth Conley, Enid Baum; Brother: James P. Gorman as well as nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 4:00 PM, Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Community United Methodist Church, Fruitland Park, FL with Rev. Charlotte Lewis officiating. Interment will be in Greenville, Maine.
