Obituary of Margaret C. Consider

Carolyn M. Consider, 70, of Ocala, FL passed away on Saturday, March 6 at Munroe Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 11, 1939 in Atlanta, GA and moved to Key West, FL at age 5. She attended school in Key West and graduated from Key West High School in 1958. It was also in Key West that Carolyn met and married the love of her life, Dennis Consider, and raised their three children. She has made Ocala her home since 1985. Carolyn worked primarily in retail sales and was a longtime employee of Sears. Her greatest joy came from caring for others, and she devoted most of her life and time to caring for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who are left behind, but they will carry with them forever the lessons of love, giving, and selflessness that Carolyn taught them through her example. She was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Dennis Consider; her parents, Robert and Eloise Jenkins; and her brother, Robert Jenkins, Jr. She is survived by her beloved children Denise Fleenor, Susan Consider, and Robert (Melissa) Consider; her grandchildren, Charles Fleenor, Amanda Fleenor, Jennifer Fleenor, Amber James, Leigh Consider, Zachary Consider, and Jaeda Brewer; and two great grandchildren, all of Ocala, FL; her sisters, Beverly Curtis of Ellensburg, WA and Diane Smith and Brenda Stevens of Ocala, FL. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 11 at 4:00 p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 910 S.E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be on March 12, 2010 at 10: a.m. at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
