Whitaker, Susan Crandall, 81 Susan Crandall Whitaker was called from this life on March 13, 2010. Mrs. Whitaker was a graduate of Cornell University and was a Teacher for the Michigan Public School System.. She moved to Ocala from Bloomfield Hills, MI in 1984. Susan was of the Episcopal faith. Mrs. Whitaker was most proud of her family and enjoyed special family functions especially during the holidays. She leaves behind her loving husband of 60 years, William J. Whitaker, Jr. of Ocala, FL. daughter Lawretta Gebhardt of Gainesville, FL; son, William J. Whitaker, III of Orlando, FL, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
