Obituary of Verna Anderson

Verna Mae Anderson, 68 of Williston, died March 21, 2010 in Williston. Born in Montbrook, FL she spent her life in Williston. She was a nurse's aid and enjoyed Bingo, loved to fish, watching birds and her friends. She enjoyed her family and was most proud of them all. She is survived by her daughters; Faye Pons of Gainesville, Carolyn Munden of Williston and Penny Anderson of Morriston, sons; David Anderson of Summerfield and Danny Anderson of Gainesville, sisters Mary Bryan of Gainesville and Irene Wilson of Micanopy, brothers; Allen Monk of Lacrosse, Melvin Monk of Florahome and Billy Piper of Keystone, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Flora Piper and sister, Martha Spence. Graveside services will be Wed. March 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Orange Hill Cemetery in Williston, FL with Pastor Jessie Maxine Peoples officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 23 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
