Obituary of Albert John Miskuf

Ocala - Albert J. Miskuf, 90, died March 24, 2010 at Estelle's Hospice House, Ocala. He was born in Buffalo, New York and moved from Interlachen, FL to this area in 1987. He was a retired FDIC bank examiner. Mr. Miskuf was a veteran of WW II serving in the United States Navy and a Pearl Harbor survivor. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Community, Ocala, Mass Society of St. Jude, VFW, American Legion, and DAV. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Miskuf, Ocala; daughter, Martina (Daniel)D. Stinson, Keystone Heights, FL; daughter-in-law, Debralee Miskuf, Tucson, AZ; sister, Lorraine (Joseph)M. Rath, Palm Harbor, FL; brother, Raymond (Marie)A. Miskuf, Tampa, FL; and 3 grandchildren, Jason Miskuf, Angela Champion, Jeffrey Champion, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son, Jerome A. Miskuf, brother, Edward F. Miskuf and grandson, Joshua Miskuf. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, March 29, 2010 at St. Jude Catholic Community, Marion Oaks. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 PM, Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, with military honors.
