Obituary of Chauna Kristine Johnston

Ocala - Chauna Kristine Johnston, 42, died at West Marion Community Hospital March 27, 2010. She was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina and was a civil designer for 20 years for Burrell Engineering. She was a member of Westport High School Booster Club, volunteer cheerleading coach for the Marion County Youth Football League, and a stock car driver at Ocala Speedway. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family. Mrs. Johnston is survived by her husband, Glenn Johnston; daughters, Ashle Johnston and Nicole Johnston Meers; parents, Barbara and Richard Fort, sisters, Connie Thompson, Cynthia Durbin and Cortney Ketner; father-in-law, Al Johnston; mother-in-law, Sheryl (Lanny) Aldridge; brothers-in-law, Ro Aldridge, Charlie Johnston, and Chad Johnston; sister-in-law, Lanna Denison and ex-mother-in-law, Charlene Pittman. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview with Rev. David Scott officiating.
