Obituary of Tommy Coy Whitlock

Whitlock, Tommy C. - Summerfield Tommy C. Whitlock, 84 of Summerfield went to meet the Lord on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. He was a member of Eagle's Nest Baptist Church- Fruitland Park. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. He was a prisoner of war while in Germany and earned the Purple Heart.He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved his family. Tommy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Louise Whitlock; daughter, Pam LeFrancois (Robert), 4 grandchildren, Jaime Rose (Geoff), Jeffrey, Joshua and Erica LeFrancois; 2 great-grandchildren, Tanner and Kendall Rose.Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010 between 5-7 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL. followed by Chapel services on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 12:30 PM. Burial at Florida National Cemetery at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eagle's Nest Baptist Church Building Fund.
