Obituary of Ervin J. Cook

Ervin J. Cook, age 76, of Ocala, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. He was born in Rockmart, GA on October 22, 1933. Ervin served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. During his working years he owned and operated E.C. Painting Company. Ervin was a member of the Eagles, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was also of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Cook of Ocala; step daughter Mary Russell of Branford, FL; brothers Romie Cook and Ricky Cook both of Cedartown, GA; sisters Dot Adams, Millie Cook and Betty Gilmore all of Rome, GA; and a sister Ruby Cox of Boone, NC. Ervin was predeceased by his father Romie Cook, Sr., mother Tessie May Brown and a sister Jeanette Collins.
