Obituary of Evelyn K. Gee

Evelyn K. Gee, age 63, of Ocklawaha, FL passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2010. She was born in Pigeon, MI on May 11, 1946. She was raised in Michigan and moved to Florida in 1990. She was a Homemaker having raised one daughter. She worked at Seat Belt factory in Bad Axe, MI and for the Marion County Recycling Center in Lynne as an Attendant. Her hobbies included fishing, woodcrafts, painting and just about anything outdoors. She loved listening to Elvis music. Evelyn was a Methodist. She is survived by a daughter Debbie Rivera of Ocklawaha, FL; sister Joyce Ballard of Ocklawaha, FL; brothers Robert Smith and Ronald Smith both of Michigan; six grandchildren Jessie, Deanna, Crystal, Jesus Jr., Ezequiel and Esthela; one great grandchild Caleb; several nieces and nephews; her favorite brother in law Chucky; and her pet Pekinese Penny. A visitation will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Monday, April 5, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. A funeral service will also be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Electra Cemetery, Ocklawaha, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Marion County, PO Box 1542, Ocala, FL 34478 in memory of Evelyn K. Gee.
