Obituary of Jerome Joseph Zobel

Jerry Zobel, "The Candy Man" 70, died, Friday, April 2, 2010. Mr. Zobel was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to The Villages from Columbus, Ohio in 2002. He was a retired pension consultant; a U. S Army Veteran; a member of The Word Bible Study and the Thursday Prayer Breakfast; member of St Mark The Evangelist Roman Catholic Community. He enjoyed playing golf, bridge, dominoes and cards. Survivors are his wife Connie; daughters, Dawn Zobel Horan, Bluffington, IN, Amanda Zobel, Columbus, OH; son, Mark, Dublin, OH and four grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at St Mark The Evangelist Roman Catholic Community, Summerfield. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, April 5, 2010 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages.
