Obituary of Robert Fitch

FITCH, Robert B., Jr. Mr. Robert B. "Buddy" Fitch, Jr., 62, of Dunnellon, died Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Legacy Hospice House. A native of Boone, North Carolina, he moved to this area 4 years ago, coming here from Houston, Texas. He proudly served his country during the Viet Nam War in the US Navy. He had retired from the automotive industry as an auto body damage appraiser. Mr. Fitch was Baptist. He is survived by his daughter Diana Marie Fitch, sons Robert B. Fitch III, and James Howard Fitch, his mother Lena Fitch, sisters Jane Dorsett and Barbara Santerre, his brother Billy Carlton Fitch, and 7 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Robert B. Fitch, Sr., and his brother Benjamin Howard Fitch. Services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, with Rev. Robert Ledford officiating. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery.
