Obituary of Ellen Blanka Arndt

Ellen Blanka Arndt, 81 of Ocala, passed away on April 4, 2010 at the Tuscany House. She was born on June 19, 1928 in Hamburg, Germany. She relocated to the Ocala area in 2009 coming from Lawrence, MA. She and her companion of 25 years, Joe loved traveling through the New England area sight-seeing and were "snowbirds" for ten years coming to Florida. Ellen was a retired shoe factory employee in Massachusetts working for over 15 years. She is survived by two sons, Wolfgang Hirschlein (Inger) and Manfred Arndt (Melinda); 5 grandchildren, Justin, Michael, David, Matthew and Daniel; 2 great-grandchildren, Matthew Jr. and Kaitlin; one sister, Trudy Petrovic . Services will be held privately by the family. Arrangements handled by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services-Belleview.
