Obituary of Betty Dawes

Miami - Betty Dawe, 81, died peacefully on April 4, 2010. Betty is survived by her daughters, Jean Lynette McLaughlin and Angela Dawe, her siblings, Marie Leonard, Howard Odom, Peggy Ayers and Carl Odom, her grandchildren, Tambra Wolfe, Wendy Chaffin and Theresa Luzader and her 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Dawe and her siblings, James, Jack and Sonny Odom and Barbara Weiss and Julie Stuckey. Betty was born in Thomasville, GA and was a successful interior decorator. She loved animals, sewing, singing, dancing, traveling, family and bingo. Services will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3rd St. Ocala. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Marion County Humane Society.
