Obituary of Franz Hetfleisch

Mr. Hetfleisch was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to The Villages from Tinley Park, Ill. He was a retired owner/operator of Franz Enterprises, a fastener company; attended St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Community, Wildwood; was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II; member of the Lions Club, Fishing Club, Belvedere Social Club, The Villages VIP Club; and enjoyed golfing and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; daughters Sandra Kechaner, Oak Forest, Ill., Carole Capsalls, Hernandon, Va., Marianne Laff, Orland Park, Ill., Mary Kaye Sobieck, Knox, Ill., Susan Skarr, Venice, Patty Nemec, Commerce City, Colo., Jeanne Kunes, Evergreen Park, Ill.; sons Bruce Hetfleisch, Frankfort, Ill., Brian Hetfleisch, Orland Park, Michael Alan Hetfleisch, Shorewood, Ill., James Hetfleisch, Midlothian, Ill., Michael Krumbein, Tustin, Calif., William Hetfleisch, Rockdale, Ill.; brother, Tony Hetfleisch; sisters Regina, Millie, Minnie; 34 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 16, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 17, at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Community.
