Born in Oldtown, OH on April 14, 1932; died April 15, 2010 at home. Mr. Spitler enjoyed woodworking and golfing with his best score as being 78. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia M. of 59 years, Spruce Creek South, FL; sons, Bruce W. (Deborah) of Xenia, OH, and John P. of New Carlisle, OH; daughter, Lu Ann (Daniel) Irwin of Xenia, OH; four grand children; and two great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Robert) Mason of Sabina, OH; brother, Ronald (Jimmie) of Morristown, TN; sister, Mary (Keith) Linkhart of Xenia, OH. He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara; father, Robert; and brother, Jon. Celebration of life will be held Mon., Apr. 19, 2010 2:PM at Community United Methodist Church, 309 College Avenue, Fruitland Park, FL 34731.
