Obituary of Catherine Mary Ann Hallisy

Catherine Mary Ann Hallisy, 76, Ocala passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2010 in Ocala. Born on June 15, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio she served as a Secretary, Teacher and a volunteer for 50 years before retiring while residing in the states of Ohio, Virginia, Maryland and here in Florida. She was a Graduate of Hiram College, " Class of 83", Cum Laude. She was a Child of God, Wife, Mother and trusted friend. Catherine was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Hallisy, Jr. in 1993. Survivors include her son John (Jack) A. Kane, Cleveland, OH; Nephew, Tommy Sikkila, Cleveland, OH; and trusted friend, Tom Robinson, Inglis, FL. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 1:15 PM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala. Inurnment will be on Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
