Obituary of Theodore Rintala

Theodore "Ted" F. Rintala Born in Warren, OH on Jan. 30, 1935; died in The Villages, FL on Apr. 16, 2010. He was a member of North Lake Presbyterian Church, enjoyed country music, and golf and accomplished a "hole in one" on Nov. 10, 2007. Additionally he enjoyed the Saturday Polo Ridge Runners Golf Group. Mr. Rintala a native of Warren, Ohio moved to The Villages in 2001. He truly enjoyed his time with the family on vacations at St. Pete Beach, FL; and faithfully served our country in the US Air Force. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Mona of The Villages, FL; daughters, Susan (Jonathan) Brooks of Broken Arrow, OK, and Vicki (Larry) Duncan of McKinney, TX; sons, Marc (Sophia) of Warren, OH, and Troy of Santa Monica, CA; grandchildren, Jared (Sarah) Duncan, Natalie and Rayna Rintala, Bodan Brooks; great-grandchildren, Braylee and Brayden Duncan; sisters, Vivian (Roger) Burns of Winter Haven, FL, Arlene Games of Hummelstown, PA, and Ruth Jenkins of Newton Falls, OH. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Powell. Celebration of Life will be held Fri., Apr. 23, 2010 11AM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - The Villages 352-753-8353. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to be granted to Cornerstone Hospice, The Villages, FL. Private inurnment at North Lake Presbyterian Church.
