It is with sadness and a heavy heart that we note the passing of SORFAR member, Sam Bailey. Sam was an active member and always willing to do the things that needed doing in support of our association. He also served as president of SORFAR during the year 2008. Who can forget the work and effort that Sam and Jean did to prepare for the 2008 reunion at St Augustine, FL. Sadly, they could not attend due to the death of Jean's mother. Sam will be greatly missed.
Our heartfelt sympathy to Jean and family on the loss of a beloved member of the family. May they take comfort in knowing that Sam was a credit to his country, for serving in the Air Force. To his community for his involvement in many worthy organizations. To the FAA, for 38 years of outstanding service as a technician and manager. To his family, for loving and being loved in return is the greatest bond of all. And to his many friends, it was an honor to call him "friend".
May God bless you and comfort you during this most difficult time.
