Obituary of Carolyn Miller

Carolyn S. "Carol" Miller, age 58, of Ocklawaha, FL passed away at home on Friday, April 23, 2010. She was born in Zanesville, OH on May 25, 1951. She moved to S. Florida at an early age and relocated to Ocklawaha in 1983 with her husband and family. Carol was of the Baptist faith. Her hobbies included bowling and attending to her children and grandchildren. She worked as a Waitress over the years. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Daniel E. "Dan" Miller of Ocklawaha, FL; son Gregory Miller and his wife Melissa of Ocala, FL; son Danny Lee Miller of Ocklawaha, FL; daughter Mary Colburn and her husband Jim of Dunnellon, FL; brothers Charles "Bud", Gary, James "Jim" and Dwight "Bill" Barnhart; grandchildren Chris, Stephanie, Meagan, Cody, Josh, and Danny Jr; 3 great grandchildren; and many close nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to her as "Sis". Carol was preceded in death by a son Matthew James Miller, a sister Diana Merideth and her parents Charles and Frances Barnhart. A visitation will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Monday, April 26, 2010 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. A funeral service will also be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ocala, FL.
