Obituary of Robert LeRoy Hinkley

Robert LeRoy Hinkley, 81,of Ocala passed away on Monday, April 26, 2010 in Ocala, FL. Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts on October 17, 1928, he was the son of the late Russel LeRoy and Mary A. (Bonney) Hinkley. Robert moved to Florida from Massachusetts in 1961 and to Ocala from Port Charlotte, FL in 2001. He was a U.S.Navy Veteran. For 19 years he was employed as a Salesman and Service Technician with Fenco of Florida. He was a member of the Ocala West United Methodist Church.. He enjoyed gardening and valued the times with his family. Robert is survived by his Loving wife of 40 years, Ruth Hinkley, Ocala, son Thomas Hinkley, Montana, daughter Ellen Cahill, Atlanta, GA, 2 Grandchildren, Christina and John Hinkley and Great Grandchild Kayden Jackson. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 10:30AM in the Chapel of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, Timberridge, 9695 SW 110th St., Ocala. Visitation will be held in the Chapel on Thursday from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. Burial will be at the Florida National Cemetery.
