Obituary of Lynn Randolph Owen

Ocala - Lynn R. Owen, Ret. Master Chief Petty Officer, 67, passed away April 29, 2010, at Tuscany Hospice House. A beloved Husband, Son, Brother, and Uncle, he was born in Brunswick, GA, October 24, 1942 and graduated from Savannah High School in 1959. He was retired from the U.S. Navy, where he served two tours in Vietnam. He also retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Belleview American Legion Post 284, South Marion D.A.V. Post 85, and the Philippine American Community of Marion County. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Fely S. Owen; Mother, LeMonnie Lynes-Windham; Brother, J. King "Butch" Owen; Niece, Rebecca O. Rogers; and Nephew, J. Daniel Owen, all of Ocala. Graveside Ceremony, Monday, May 3, 11am, Candler Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday, 5:30p-7p, Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910, E Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala.
