Obituary of Frances J. Marquette

Frances J. Marquette, age 84, of Ocala, FL passed away on Monday, May 3, 2010. She was born in Dunkirk, NY on February 23, 1926. She was raised in Dunkirk and moved to Florida in the mid 1950's where she met and married Neal Marquette. Together they raised four children. Frances worked as a Teacher's Aide for many years in Melrose where she retired. Her hobbies included sewing, reading and searching out yard sales for collectible items. She was a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church in Ocala. Frances is survived by her husband Neal; sons Ronald and Theodore James; daughters Darlene and Sharon; brother Daniel Conny; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters Florence and Josephine and one brother Vincent. A visitation will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala on Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Interfaith Emergency Services, 435 NW 2nd St, Ocala, FL 34475 in memory of Frances J. Marquette or to the charity of donor's choice. A memorial mass will be held at a later date.
