Obituary of Helen Nettie Wraight

THE VILLAGES — Helen Nettie Wraight, 82, died Saturday, May 8, 2010. Ms. Wraight was born in Avoca, N.Y., and moved to The Villages from Zephyrhills in 2007. She was a homemaker; a Presbyterian by faith; member of The Grange in Wheeler, N.Y.; former Dairylea member; officer of the New York Farm Bureau and DAR; enjoyed camping, travel around the country, crafts and trips to Busch Gardens in Tampa. Survivors include her daughters Janice Thompson, The Villages, Catherine Bear, Citrus Heights, Calif., Mary Compton, Albuquerque, N.M., Sally Duda, Collegeville, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at Avoca Funeral Home in Avoca, with interment to follow in Prattsburgh, N.Y.
