Elaine R. Bracken 80 Years Born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 7, 1929; died in Summerfield, Florida on May 10, 2010. She was a retired bookkeeper, and follower of the Catholic faith. She moved here from Long Island, New York in 1994. She is survived by husband of 58 years, Joseph of Summerfield, FL; son, Michael of Zephyrhills, FL; and daughter, Colleen of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren, Shannon, and Elise; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth; step-granddaughter, Jennifer; step-great-grandsons, Edward and Joseph. Visitation will be Thu., May 13th 3:PM - 8:PM at HIERS-BAXLEY FUNERAL SERVICES - THE VILLAGES, 352-753-8353. Funeral mass will be Fri., May 14, 2010 10:AM St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church, Summerfield, FL. Inurnment at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Ocala Chapter American Merchant Marine Veterans.
