Obituary of Thomas J. Genovese

Thomas Genovese LADY LAKE — Thomas J. Genovese, 85, died Friday, May 21, 2010. Mr. Genovese was born in Oswego, N.Y., and moved to Lady Lake from there in 1998. He was a retired teacher and administrator; a U.S. Army veteran; a member of St. Timothy Catholic Community; the Italian American Club; and the Palo Alto Club. Survivors include his wife, Ann V.; daughter, Susan Bonaro, Rome, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, at St. Timothy Catholic Community, Lady Lake. Interment, with military honors, will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Florida National Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 24, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, is in charge of arrangements.
