Obituary of Richard Meister

Richard E. Meister, age 73 of Ocala, FL passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010. He was born in Canton, OH on July 27, 1936. Richard was raised in Canton and attended Malone University in Ohio where he received his Bachelor degree in Biology. After moving to Florida he worked in the Pest Control industry and then for the Broward County Sheriff's Office where he retired as a Court Deputy. He moved to Ocala in 2002 where he worked and retired from the Marion County Sheriff's Office as an Evidence Technician. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. In general he had a love of the outdoors and animals. He is survived by his wife Carol A. Meister; mother Julia Meister of Ohio; grandchildren Julia Gilcher, Patrick Gilcher and Danny Muggeo; and step daughter Lisa (Danny) Muggeo of Fort Lauderdale.
