Obituary of William Clarence VanLaw

William "Bill" C. Van Law, Jr. William "Bill" C. Van Law Jr., 73, of The Villages, died May 30, 2010. He was born in Decatur, Illinois, and came to The Villages from Ponte Vedra Beach in 2005. He served in the US Navy as a lieutenant. Bill worked 20 years in the retail clothing business, 27 years in financial services, and retired in 2005 from Raymond James Financial Services in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Along with playing golf, Bill enjoyed traveling and training/showing German Shepherds. He was of the Protestant faith and a former member of the Rotary Club. He is preceded in death by his brother James T. Van Law. Survivors include his wife, Kay Van Law, of The Villages; his sons William C. Van Law, III (Paula) of St. Petersburg, Florida, and D. Wilson Van Law (Sarah) of Irvington, New York; a step-daughter Susan Wikoff of St. Louis, Missouri; step-sons Steven Trippiedi and Samuel Trippiedi of Decatur, Illinois; as well as seven grandchildren, Jacqueline (Bryan), Christopher, Margaret, Matthew, Dylan, Rhys, and Wyatt.
