Obituary of Joy Lee McCauley

THE VILLAGES — Joy Lee McCauley, 64, died Saturday, June 12, 2010. Mrs. McCauley was born in Bethesda, Md., and moved to The Villages from there in 2004. She was a retired specialist with NIH for 35 years; a member of the Women's Book Club; Ashland Women's Club; various other Villages clubs; and she was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include her husband, John; and brother, Jon Grant, North Port. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. Visitation will precede services, from 12 to 2 p.m. Interment will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, Md. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 3709 W. Jetton Ave., Tampa, FL 33629, or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 3319 Maguire Blvd., Suite 101, Orlando, FL 32803. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, is in charge of arrangements.
