Obituary of Fred Keever Fuchs

SUMMERFIELD — Fred K. Fuchs, 76, died Sunday, June 27, 2010. Mr. Fuchs was born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and recently moved from Naples to Summerfield. He was a retired Eastern director of sales for Honeywell-Bull; a Marine Corps veteran; member of North Lake Presbyterian Church, Lady Lake; Col. Phillip C. Delong Detachment No. 1267 Marine Corps League Inc. in The Villages; Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity; deacon at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Hartford, Conn.; and recently discovered a love for golf. Survivors include his wife, Marian; daughter, Suzanne Ettie, Wilton, Conn.; son, David, Orange, Calif.; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 1, at North Lake Presbyterian Church, with visitation prior to services 10-11:30 a.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. Interment will be in Farmington, Conn. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Col Phillip C.
