I am so sorry for your loss. May the God of comfort console you with peace of mind and heart during this most difficult time. The death of a loved one is of life's most difficult experiences. This is a sorrow that Jehovah God Himself will one day remove- The Bible says, 'He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, death, pain and outcry will be no more…' (Revelation 21:3-5). He has promised through His son, Jesus, that there is going to be a resurrection (John 5:25, 26, 28, and 29; John 11:24, 25). Afterwards, death, sickness, old age, and wickedness will be vanquished- forever (Isaiah 25:8; Isaiah 33:24; Job 33:25; Psalms 37:9-11, 29)! These promises can give us real hope and can help us to cope (Romans 15:4). You have my deepest sympathy.
